Hi, I’m John, a Clinical Reflexologist Practitioner, and I’m here to help you find balance in your life.
My path to this practice may be unconventional, but it’s a story I love to share.
I spent many years in the media Industry, a field as exciting as it was demanding. The high-pressure environment, tight deadlines and constant hustle were part of the thrill, but they also took a serious toll on my health and well-being. I tried many therapies to keep myself healthy, however nothing seemed to really help until I discovered reflexology.
My first reflexology treatment was enlightening, the techniques and the way they made me feel were nothing short of amazing. This experience led me on a journey to train and become a clinical reflexologist (the highest qualification in this field), learning how this practice can work alongside conventional medicine to promote health and well-being.
It’s a wonderful compliment to conventional medicine, helping to relieve pain, improve circulation and support the body’s natural healing processes. As a clinical reflexologist, I’m passionate about helping others achieve their health goals.
My background in the media industry gives me a unique perspective on the stresses of demanding work environments and the importance of finding effective ways to stay healthy. I invite you to experience the benefits of reflexology for yourself.
Together we can work towards your wellness goals and help you lead a more balanced, healthier life.
Let’s get started on this journey to better health.
Clinical reflexology works alongside conventional medical treatment to help rebalance the body and mind. Clinical reflexologists apply pressure to certain points located on your feet or hands, each of which corresponds to a particular internal organ or other structure in the body, thus encouraging the body’s own natural healing processes to occur. As a clinical reflexologist I have trained at the highest level and can create a treatment protocol for many varied conditions. It’s important to understand that clinical reflexologists do not diagnose or cure, only the body cures by reaching the state of optimum health, which we refer to as homeostasis.
Clinical reflexology can aid relaxation, reduce stress, relieve tension, and improve your circulation, your mood and your overall wellbeing. There is also evidence that Clinical Reflexology can help with a wide range of particular medical conditions. My particular qualification comes under the sector of nursing and medicine-allied vocations to help with specific conditions some of which are listed below:
Clinical reflexology is a complementary therapy, which as the name suggests, means it is there to complement, not to replace, medical treatment. If you have a specific medical condition, please consult your GP or other primary care provider in the first instance.
The Association of Reflexologists, of whom I am a member, have produced this short and helpful video to help you understand more about reflexology, how it works, and how it can help you.
If you would like to know more about reflexology, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and I will be more than happy to answer all your questions.
Many health insurances allow you to claim back the cost of reflexology treatment.
